Aarti O’Varma’s journey with fashion didn’t start with
refinement—it started with an overflowing wardrobe. What
she now refers to as her minor shopping phase (some might
say obsession) eventually became a turning point. After
realising that her extensive designer collection was gathering
more dust than compliments, Aarti began lending pieces to
her friends. When they were showered with compliments in
return, she started thinking: Could this be a business idea?
